Randy G. Love Obituary

We come together today to celebrate the life of Randy G. Love, a man whose presence was as warm and enduring as the leather creations he so lovingly crafted. Born on August 25, 1954, in Atlanta, Georgia, Randy's journey through life was one marked by passion, creativity, and an unwavering love for his family. On March 14, 2024, at his residence in Valley, Alabama, Randy's story on this earth came to a peaceful close.

Randy, known affectionately to those around him simply as "Randy," was a man whose life was as rich and textured as the leather he worked with. He was the proud owner of Love's Leather, a business that not only showcased his creative talents but also served as a testament to his dedication and work ethic. Randy's hands were rarely still, as he was always creating, always crafting, and always leaving a piece of himself in his work.

A true family man, Randy's legacy is carried on through his loving children, Michael Love and his wife Jessica, Michelle Holley and her husband Luke, and Brandy Love. His spirit will continue to resonate in the laughter and memories shared with his grandchildren, Michael Love, Jr., Brianna Noblitt, Isiah Vigil, Brittaney Vigil, Kaylee Love, Autumn Holley and her partner Skyler Strickland, and Hayden Holley. The twinkle in Randy's eye will shine on in his great-grandchildren, Rowan Chase Trammell, Evee Rodriguez, and Jonah Vigil. His nieces, Misty Lowery, Shannon Doughtie, Mandy Love, Sherry Oltz, Kathy Love, Heather Love, Christina Prestridge and Lindsey Prestridge will carry forward the stories and lessons he imparted.

Randy was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sandra "Little Woman" Love, who was his partner in every sense of the word. His parents, Thomas and Laura Love, and his brothers, Fred Love, Russell Love, and Allen "Peanut" Love, laid the foundation for the man he would become. His granddaughter, Kala Love, was a bright star in his life, and her memory remains a cherished part of his story.

Randy was a man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. An avid Atlanta Braves fan, he could often be found cheering on his favorite team, reveling in the highs and lows of the game. His love for the outdoors was evident to all who knew him, with hunting and fishing trips serving as the backdrop for some of his most treasured moments. Randy's gift for storytelling brought his adventures to life, captivating the hearts and imaginations of those who had the pleasure of listening.

Thoughtful, creative, and interesting—these words only begin to scratch the surface of who Randy was. His thoughtfulness shone through in the careful attention to detail in his leather work, in the way he remembered the little things that mattered to those he loved. His creativity was a wellspring that never ran dry, fueling his business and inspiring those around him. Randy's interesting nature lay in his ability to see the world in a unique light, to find beauty and possibility in the everyday.

As we reflect on Randy G. Love's life, we are reminded of the indelible mark he has left on the world. His legacy is one of love, craftsmanship, and the enduring bonds of family. Randy's story may have reached its conclusion, but the chapters he wrote in the lives of those he touched will continue to be read and celebrated for generations to come. Today, we honor a life well-lived, a man well-loved, and a story well-told. Randy G. Love, you will be deeply missed, but your spirit will forever be woven into the fabric of our lives.
